Davis is a Shreveport attorney who is licensed to practice law in both Louisiana and Mississippi. His areas of practice include oil and gas law, business organization, general property law and related transactional and title issues.

In early 2011, Davis Co-founded ShaleTrak, L.L.C., as a mineral and royalty management group serving owners in Northwest Louisiana and throughout the Gulf Coast region. ShaleTrak provides mineral and royalty owners with customized management and analysis of their data, as well as related lease compliance issues.

In addition to NARO, Davis is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen and holds the status of Certified Petroleum Landman (CPL). Davis is also a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, and the Shreveport Bar Association.

Davis attended Millsaps College where he received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration. Davis then attended the University of Mississippi School of Law where he received a Juris Doctor degree.
